Seasons: Halloween Party Sneak Peak

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is a real treat. It’s the biggest and best Fall block party with all the magic of Disney. Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and the crew invite you to join them in your best costume to Trick or Treat through the Magic Kingdom. You’ll collect gobs of candy, catch a special BOO TO YOU parade and fireworks display with a lot of spirit and just a little spook. Visit Magic Kingdom during select nights in September through November to party with your Disney friends.

Guests of all ages can enjoy this family friendly event. If your little tyke is sensitive to loud noises or spooks easily, you may want to focus on the trick-or-treating, the character dance parties, and rides. Skip the parade or watch from afar as some of the Disney Villans and ghoulish characters may be a little too much for sensitive ones.

Seasons: Disney in the Fall

The Magic Kingdom is beautiful in its original design. But the fall season adds a splash of warmth with the autumn decor. Check out this video from Disney Parks to see how it all comes together.

Spotlight: Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party

I would describe our experience as the biggest and best Halloween block party mixed with the unmistakable magic of Disney.

We are crazy about Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. We book our trip and choose our costumes well in advance of this nighttime celebration.
The party features parades, costumes, and candy galore as guests Trick-or-Treat through the Magic Kingdom. My daughter loved the free face painting, my son LOVED the gobs of candy he collected, my husband would say he likes all the costumed guests. But my favorite part of the whole night is the character dance parties. On a normal day in the park, we usually wait in long lines to grab a picture with Disney celebrities like Mickey and Minnie. But at the dance parties, kids (both little and big) cut a rug with the characters!

Because this event requires a separate ticket which costs less than a full day’s admission to the park, some friends have used this party as a more budget friendly option for experiencing Magic Kingdom.
